Recently married in sunny California at the Hyatt Regency, Julie came to me with some solid ideas of the look she was looking for, however unsure how to bring it to life on her invitation. Her wedding decor was going to be a mix of deco decorations, using mostly metal textures and flowers on the tables. I wanted to create her invitation to encompass the feeling of mixed metals, slightly edgy, however still with the soft side of an elegant wedding.

Congratulations to Phil and Tom who will be getting married early January right here in New York. Finally they are able to truly “tie the knot” and I could not be happier for them! Their ceremony and reception will be held aboard a private yacht that will set sail around Manhattan. When I began working with Phil and Tom, they did not have any particular theme that they wanted to work with, so I took some colors that they liked along with the “boat” theme and let it fly. I went ahead and created a double anchor logo for them, in lieu of the traditional “double wedding ring” symbol we have all seen and used it as a starting point.

Erica and Thomas were married at the Royalton at Roslyn Country Club on Long Island, New York.
Thank you Erica Zimmerman for sending in such a sweet testimonial for my site! It was about a year ago that I began working with Erica on her invitations. She was looking for something simple and elegant with a small flair of surprise. I used a few different papers for Erica’s invitation – all keeping it in the ivory color palette. I wound up mixing opal metallic paper, with a translucent rose printed paper and did the printing on a ivory linen paper. Her pop color for her wedding was navy in which i incorporated in the printing.
I continued working with Erica for her wedding programs and menus making sure to incorporate the look of the invitation. They were both printed on opal metallic paper and the program was wrapped it in a navy satin ribbon.
