Alison and Adam were married at The Ritz Carlton in Battery Park. I went with black and white to keep a formal look to her invitation and added the lace and brooch to give it a classic touch.

0 CommentsA big congratulations to Rebeca and David who were married this past week out at Auberge du Soleil sunny California! They were so nice to work with and every time we met, always brought a smile to my face. For their invitation, I used a mix of neutral tones mixing wood paper, a brown matte textured paper, a natural white linen paper and for a bit of “pop” added a copper metallic paper. The artwork is framed with a metal picture frame which brought some dimension to the invitation. For their seating cards, I used small metal frames to mimic the invitation.

Ali and BJ were married on June 2nd, at The Hudson Theatre in New York City. The Hudson Theatre is one of the oldest theaters in New York City now converted into an event space, still holding on to the original look of a theatre. The seats on the floor were cleared out for the ceremony and then replaced with tables for the reception. Their ceremony and dancing took place on the stage and their cake cutting was up in one of the boxes. All of the wedding details were theater related – I created posters to hang in front of the theatre – their table seating, menu and other fun information about the bride and groom were put into a 23 page playbill, there were 2 cigarette girls walking around with candy from the 50’s, the tables had a variety of over sized lamps, candles and flowers – no detail was left untouched! Ali and BJ even rented a double decker sight seeing bus for pictures! There was a photobooth set up in the back of the theater which was an added bonus to walk away with pictures from the day. I was so lucky to be maid of honor and could not be happier for Ali and BJ! Love you guys!
