Angela and Ted were married in Seattle this past Labor Day weekend. The ceremony kicked off the night at Gas Works Park, which showcased Seattles amazing skyline… ahhhh so beautiful! The night continued with dinner and dancing at The Palace Ballroom, owned by the famous Seattle chef Tom Douglas. yum yum yum I am slightly biased, because Angela is my sister in law – but what a wedding to remember! – and what a beautiful bride :O) …Ted looked quite handsome as well…Angela’s wedding colors were purple and white, with accents of polka dots. (she happened to wear a fabulous Amsale dress with subtle polka dots) For the save the date, Angela wrote a cute story of how her and Ted originally met leading up to their life together today. I incorporated the small icons to represent major points in the story.
For the invite, I used a raised polka dot purple paper for the background, with an overlay of metallic grey paper and the top layer being a white metallic. Her response card was a cute mad-libs style postcard, letting her guests express their creative side, along with requesting a song for play during the wedding. For the wedding ceremony program as well as the favors, I used a simple design keeping the look of the invitation. They were both printed on metallic white paper.
